I always call and confirm with the borrower as soon as possible as I know people have a busy schedule and I want to accommodate that. I always check to make sure the ID matches the documents. I am comfortable with briefly explaining the documents to the consumers so they feel comfortable signing. I’ve never had any documents kicked back but if there were any mistakes, I would drop everything to get it fixed as soon as possible as I know this could cause delays in funding. I always make sure the note has the correct date on it. Lastly, I keep in touch with the signing service and let them know that the signing is on schedule and when the signing is complete.
