GINNY GONZALES, CPA, is a mobile notary service, and a mobile CPA.  Ginny’s CPA license is # 133066.  She also has a professional office in North Long Beach.

Ginny was formerly a notary public and paralegal in the legal department of a corporation.   She has years of experience notarizing documents. 

Ginny is originally from Natchez, Mississippi.  Ginny graduated with a teaching degree.  Then she attended a year and one half to law school.  She did not graduate from law school.  However, she took and passed Property I and II, and Property Abstracts.

On the east coast, she was employed as a social worker in youth court.  She was also employed as a legal secretary and paralegal. 

Ginny moved back to Mississippi to be near her ailing father.   While she was in Mississippi, she went to school to become an accountant like her mom. 

After graduating in accounting, Ginny was employed as a natural gas accountant in New Orleans.  Then she was transferred to Northern California. 

Seeking less boring employment, she became an IRS agent.   She retired with Internal Revenue Service (IRS).  

She earned four master’s degrees, two on full scholarship.  She has a master's in accounting, another in federal tax, and another in financial planning.  She also earned a masters in governmental accounting. 

She has had a varied career.  Among other jobs, Ginny has been a teacher, an adjunct professor, a waitress, bartender, and an editorial assistant.  She has been a corporate controller, a tax preparer, and a CPA in private practice. 

Ginny has always held down several jobs at the same time.  Ginny is a prolific reader. 

Ginny's family were self-employed snack food distributors.  Her dad railed against the unfair advantages of mega corporations. 

Ginny’s mom is her role model.  Ginny’s mom had a knack for saving money.  Ginny’s mom parlayed her savings into investments such as Walmart stock, at a time when Walmart was forcing small shops in Natchez out of business.  Walmart stock kept splitting, as Ginny’s mom kept plowing back dividends. 

These days Ginny attends part-time Long Beach City College.  She takes culinary arts and baking classes. 

Ginny is a widow who lives with her disabled daughter Bernice.   Bernice has two full-time care providers on the premises 24 7.  

Several years ago, Ginny ran for District 9 City Council.  Ginny came in second place.  Ginny now has the goal of being elected City Auditor!
