Mary Phibbs

I am an NNA certified Notary Signing Agent with additional certificates from Notary2pro and Loan Signing System.  Currently I am training with Notary Stars.   Knowledge and professionalism are both important to me, so I will continue training and learning for as long as I work as a notary and signing agent.   With this training, my role as a signing agent is clear.  My aim is to provide the signer with a positive experience and to represent the title company and lender well.  My signers know at the beginning that if they have a question that is outside of my scope,  we can make the necessary phone calls. 

My previous experience as a classroom teacher, customer service representative, as well as graduate level classes in psychology and mental health have equipped me with the skills to work with a variety of people and situations.  People find me warm, patient, and down to earth.  

Because I know how important it is to provide perfect paperwork, I instruct my signers where and how to sign date and initial, watching as they sign.  Since I do not want to bother the signers with a second trip,  I check the papers as they complete and again before I leave the table.   If there is an error, I make it my highest priority to get it corrected immediately because I understand how time sensitive real estate documents are.  

As well as having a dual tray laser printer and fast scanner in my home office, I am set up in my car with a single tray laser printer and Epsom scanner in my car.  This means that my scans will come soon after the signing and I can print last minute documents if that becomes necessary.
