I understand that an incomplete signing or a signing full of errors can cost a mortgage officer a rate lock, a buyer to miss a close of escrow, or cause funding conditions delaying everything. To prevent this from happening, I utilize the skills I acquired from law school by critically reading each document and thoroughly explaining all of the important documents (closing statement, note, deed, and CD) to the signer.

I always ensure the dates are correct on the notice of right to cancel and I know to have the borrower initial any corrections to the notice of right to cancel if the dates had to be corrected. In addition, I know to always confirm with you the specific verbiage on a power of attorney signing and trustee signings.

Because closing on a transaction is very important to not only the buyer, but also you, I am available at any time (including weekends!) to complete a signing. Even if a signing is two hours away, I will still be willing to take care of that for you.
