As a former broker and risk manager for Lawyer's Professional Liability insurance, I place a high level of security on sensitive information that is shared within the loan signing process. In addition to transporting all loan documents within a combination secured locking case, I maintain all computer equipment with the same password protection and records destruction processes I learned and trained within the corporate workplace. My company's moto is "offering peace of mind every time you sign", and as such, I carry over $1M in E&O coverage, as well as $1M in General Liability coverage. The goal for every signing assignment is accuracy and proficiency, but in the event of an unusual occurrence, I believe it is in the best interest of the client and my company to have as much professional liability protection as possible.
