I travel to clients' homes or places of business to notarize real estate closing documents and other documents as requested by clients or escrow companies. > Accept jobs and confirm with clients > Verify that all documents are accounted for > Sort and tag documents with post-its for the signers to direct them where to sign and date as well as information relevant to the signing > Ensure that the signers are aware and understand the documents > Ensure signer is of sound mind and not under duress > Explain Right to cancel document > Review and Return all signed documents to escrow company immediately . > Regularly communicate with escrow companies
