When you're searching for a notary, you want someone who respects your time, understands your needs, and faithfully executes the duties of their office as a public servant. You need to be sure your signors are properly identified, are aware of the document(s) they are about to sign, and are under no duress to do so. You also need to be sure that your documents are signed and dated correctly and the notarial certificates are completely filled out, signed, and stamped. You would expect your notary to be prompt and prepared for your appointment, and when the unexpected happens, you'll appreciate your notary following up with you to keep things on track. I'm brand new to the Atlanta metropolitan area as a notary public, but I served as a mobile notary and loan signing agent in Arizona from February 2020 to October 2021; I first became certified by the NNA as a Notary Signing Agent in March 2020 and have completed over 1000 signings since then.
