As a mobile notary I understand my role and limitations in the signing process. Operated as a Mortgage Broker from 1985 until 2011 licensed by DRE and NMLS. In 2012 closed businesses, moved to Morro Bay, CA to begin retirement "on the coast". During those years I made it a practice to attend EVERY signing at the Title/Escrow office with the borrowers. For a few years operated a realty firm as well: Edwards Real Estate, I share these as evidence that by sheer repetition, I understand Escrow Instructions, Real Estate and Loan documents...on top of that I read my assignment information. Finally I believe in constant COMMUNICATION, with ALL parties...if nothing else, just to make others aware that I've received, or I've Printed two sets and ready for appointment. Then finally, notify signing co./Title/Escrow when paperwork has been double and sometimes triple checked, they're put in FedEx up UPS and shipped.
