Some people say loan signing agent, some say closing agent, some say notary signing agent. • I know mistakes can cause delays, which can cause loss of rate lock and delay closing. • I know how to walk the signer through the documents. • I know I'm not an attorney but I know where to find answers within the documents to most questions the signers have. • I know to reach out to the attorney when there are errors on documents, or if the signers have questions. • I know not to miss the signature at the top of the 1003, or the top second page of the VA or FHA loan app. • I will have documents back in the office same day if possible, first thing in the morning otherwise. • I have completed the National Notary Association's Notary Signing Agent certification. • I have also completed the Professional Loan Signing Agent Certification Program. • I have dual tray copy/print/fax machines to print documents when necessary. • I have $100k in Errors and Omissions coverage. • I'm available for off-hours and weekend closings. • I can package documents to help when needed. • I can make drops to FedEx and UPS if needed.
