We established Nichols Notary, in 2018 in Lewiston, Idaho. We are a husband and wife team dedicated to mobile notary services specializing in loan signing in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. With a passion for facilitating seamless buyer and seller experiences with an expertise in purchases, refinances, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) agreements, and reverse mortgages. Our commitment to delivering exceptional service has made us a trusted partner for title companies, lenders, and customers alike.
We are a mobile/traveling notaries. We make it easy to get your documents notarized no matter where you are. We provide convenient mobile notary service at your home, office or other location that is convenient for you and your schedule. We have a mobile printer to assist you in printing those documents that you are unable to print. Our goal is to make the notarization process effortless and efficient. General Notary Public
Tammy Nichols is a commissioned Notary Public in Washington and Idaho. Jason Nichols is a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Idaho. We are authorized by state law to perform all notarial services in Washington and Idaho.
In order to notarize your documents, we need to properly identify you. Proper identification includes:
- Valid Drivers License
- Military ID
- State Issued ID Cards
- Passport
Documents we notarize include, but are not limited to:

- Last Will and Testaments

Note: Last Will and Testaments: Please note anyone over the age of 18 and of sound mind can legally create a Will. However, It is strongly advised to have an attorney write your Will. If you desire to write your own Will, please consult with an attorney to ensure your Will is legally sound and represents your intentions on how to dispose of your property. When signing your Will you will need to sign in front of two witnesses who are not named in your Will. We reserve the right to decline notarizations of Last Wills and Testaments that have been prepared for a person on his/her death bed or prepared by a person who will inherit under the Will. In those cases, we encourage you to contact an attorney.
Real Estate and Loan Documents
We are certified by the National Notary Association (NNA). We are available to notarize your loan documents in the privacy of your home, office or other convenient location of your choosing.
Before contacting us for notarization of your real estate documents, please consult with your lender and title company. Many title companies contract with signing services or have their preferred notaries. You can request our services by informing the title company and your lender of your desire to utilize our services. Counties we provide services to are: Asotin, Garfield and Whitman, Washington; Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce, Idaho.
We offer mobile signing services Monday through Friday at times that are convenient for you and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Field Inspections
These services are normally requested by insurance agents, lenders, businesses and third party vendors. Upon request, wee provide photo inspections for new construction, insurance claims, business verifications and the like.
Courier and Shipping
There are situations that you may need a trusted person to deliver correspondence or mail an item for you. We do provide this service in limited situations. Please contact us to discuss your courier and shipping needs. Please note this offer is limited to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley.
Document Search and Retrieval
While most of the court documents are available on line, there are times that you may need a certified copy of a document or to file/record documents with the court.
We are familiar with the courthouse procedure and can help file documents with the courts, obtain documents, record documents with the county auditor or perform document searches. We are available to travel to these counties:
- Washington: Asotin, Columbia, Garfield and Whitman.
- Idaho: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce.
Genealogy and Family Search
Tammy has extensive knowledge and experience in tracing an individuals ancestral history using historical records, census records, newspapers and more. Services provided are:
